Disclaimer: All of the instruments and samples belong to their respective synth companies (Roland, Emu, Yamaha, etc). It's recommended to only use the sounds for personal use and fan projects, best to use theses for non commercial use. Unless you bought the sounds by themselves via Hardware or VSTs.

This will fix a lot of the tuning issues which were a problem in the old soundfont from the vault.

I've fixed a lot of the names based on the original patches from their original source synthesizers.

Though the samples remain untouched like they were in the game.

I'll also have tweaked the ADSR envelopes to be more accurate.

This'll also improve MIDI import when testing the music in the rom.

Important Notes When Composing MIDI music for Goldeneye:

(1.) Bass (Pop) cannot go any louder than G3 without static.

(2.) I recommend only using 16 channels in the midi files when you're creating custom music.

(3.) Notes cannot be doubled up on any instrument without breaking the song.

(4.) VasVIsVcsCbs Strings or its clone hate anything in the octave of 7, it should be generally avoided in any case. It will fall back to a lower note and it ends up sounding dissonant.

(5.) I found that TR-808 Drum kit hi-hat will crash the game unless it plays a bar or two later. This may be the same case for all levels.

(6.) Example, certain instruments are strictly meant to be subtle (like Infinite One)

(7) The goldeneye soundset doesn't support modulation.

(9) Even with a velocity of 127 (the max), it can never be the dominant instrument of any composition. Pretty much all of the presets have fixed Volume or Fixed Panning.

(10) Wagnerian LD preset will start to stutter after it sustains beyond a 2nd bar.

(11) Bongos & Congas for example are L/R in the soundset.

(12) It s also recommended to keep the goldeneye midis in 16 voice polyphony at best.
