Greetings, I have worked on an updated version of the Perfect Dark soundfont with a couple of improvements and more.

The n64 vault sf2 I noticed has a lot of issues, most of the instruments are so off tune due to the dls conversion wiping the cents value.

The theremin for example has no vibrato in the n64 vault sf2 which I later on fixed in mines due to the DLS conversion.

A lot of the instruments seem to have name related errors from the n64 vault.

Which makes things pretty much confusing when scrolling through the soundfont.

The only thing I haven't fixed is the release and attack functions, since I have trouble translating them in hex to decimal due to the confusing values.

I will fix this in the future someday.

Important Tips When Composing MIDI Music For Perfect Dark:

PD is limited to 24 Voice Polyphony.

There are only 16 midi channels.

Avoid clashing or overlapping the notes or else it will cause sustain issues with the midi file when being played in the game.

The Perfect Dark soundfont only supports 2 Semitone Range Pitch Bending.

Modulation is not supported.

The 1st Bass preset can t go higher than C4. Also Cutoff Synth Can t go higher than C5
(Mostly referring to Patch 85 to 100 for that reso synth preset in a certain case of use)

Has a note 77 range limit.
