Description:


This mod replaces the level, Villa. There is two patches in this zip. One is with custom music and the other with no custom music. The setup files are not needed but are proveded for modders. For the custom music patch be sure to set your in game music volume to about half. For unknown reasons it appears to be a bit loud at max volume otherwise. This mod (hopefully) should prove to be a challenging level to complete. It also should be quite the challenge on Perfect Agent!

NOTES:

There are four special boxes (two extra on Secret Agent and Perfect Agent) that will reward you with certain weapon pickups if you find them. You will need to shoot those boxes once to obtain their weapon pickup. There is a total of five proximity mines that will help you with certain mission spots. There is a total of four shield pickups as well to help you (two of them are dropped by guards). There is one last secret that should be easy to spot around the last objective point, however you will need to figure out how to make it help you!

PJ64 2.2 settings:
Untick the following settings

32-Bit engine
Cashe
PI DMA
Start Changed
TLB Unmapping

Change the following settings

Memory Size: 8MB
Default save type: 16-kbit EEPROM

And change Physical lookup table to Virtual lookup table.

My first level.

Background: DataDyne is up to no good, Joanna. We're sending you back to the research laboratory that is located underground. We've began suspecting that dataDyne is researching to create these super-like humans. Please note Joanna that this place is more security-tight then last time. Stealth is your best option. Objective One: - Destroy Maian Coffins. We need you to find and dispose of these coffins, Jo. Don't worry, they have already left this world. They should be scattered across the lab. Objective Two: - Find superhuman chip. If our inside sources are correct, their should be a chip of some sort that could tell us where there main factory is. Bring this to us, Jo. Objective Three: - Plant ECM mine on Lab Computer. This special ECM mine will remotely download their top secret files regarding their research. It's most likely in the last sector somewhere. Objective Four: - Plant explosives on super computer.T his should be their main computer network in the area. Plant the bomb on this computer and that should take care of their network. Objective Five: - Eliminate superhuman. This super-like human is rumored to be their first success. This is most likely in the lower sector. It shouldn't be active, if it is take caution.

——Briefing

Background -
During the raid on the Institute, a prototype weapon Foster was working on was stolen.
It's believed that it was later sold to dataDyne by a Skedar fanatic, shortly after the fall of the Skedar home world.

Carrington -
One of our operatives posing as a graduate student looking for an internship with dataDyne was able to confirm to us that Foster's prototype submachine gun is indeed being studied at dataDyne's research and development facility.
I can't stress to you enough just how vital it is that this technology be recovered.
If dataDyne is able to replicate this weapon and put it on the arms market, there's no telling what affect it will have on the ever-growing terrorism rate.

Objective One: - Destroy Automatic Guns
Our undercover operative also informed us that there are five automated defense turrets setup around the lab area.
You won't be able to get very far while they're still operational. Find them, and disable them… before they do the same to you.

Objective Two: - Retrieve Experimental Weapon
You're already familiar with Foster's most recent experiment; a submachine gun with a built-in cloaking device called the "RC-P120".
It turns out that when you were captured, one of the Skedar fanatics managed to get his hands on it.
Now that dataDyne has it in their possession, it's only a matter of time before they start mass-producing their own version.
We can't allow that to happen, Agent Dark.

Objective Three: - Obtain Bathroom Key Card
In order to leave the facility, you'll need to gain access to the upstairs bathroom.
There is likely to be a key card somewhere in the building.
Odds are that it will be guarded well, so use caution when investigating previously unexplored rooms.

Objective Four: - Reactivate Teleportal
If your presence has been detected, the teleportal used to transport employees between the facility and surface will likely have been disabled.
The power to the teleportation device should be managed by a local control console.
Be careful attempting to access random terminals, though.
They may have security software installed to deter outsiders from tampering with their systems.

Objective Five: - Exit Facility
You'll be able to make your escape from the facility through the use of a teleportal located in the ventilation ducts.
There should be a way to access them from inside the bathroom area.
You may need a boost to reach the overhead duct, however.
Try standing ontop of a toilet, if it's all you have at your disposal.
Please just watch your footing, Joanna.
I'd hate for you to soil your shoes.

Description:


You're playing as Special Agent Jonathan Steinberg. Your job is clear the path for Joanna to come in and revive an Alien. We can not let the enemy get their hands on more of the maians bodies or technology to perform experiments. You must Destroy a Maian Experimental Coffin which contains a body of one of the dead maians, as well as a maian that is being operated on in the autopsy room. Before you do that though you must retrieve the explosives so that Joanna can blow the hole in the wall to enter the base. You must grab your disguise in the locker room near the showers so the guards will not recognize you (This actually works). Last but not least, damage or destroy the Maian UFO so the guards can not steal the technology which lies inside of it.
